Allergy/Immunology Services at Winn Army Community Hospital wants to welcome you to our webpage. Our commitment is to provide the highest quality care to our patients. We provide care to patients of all ages, from infancy to adulthood. The services that are rendered through our clinic include the diagnosis and care of patients with pollen allergies, sinusitis, asthma, hives, animal allergies, mold, food, drug and insect allergies, adverse reactions to drugs and vaccines, and immunodeficiencies.
The following are provided through the Allergy/Immunization Services:
Inpatient and outpatient allergy/immunology consultation and follow-up
Overseas and specialty immunizations for non-Active duty health care beneficiaries (All Active Duty Soldiers who are not assigned to MEDDAC, DENTAC or VETTEC, should receive immunizations through their Troop Medical Clinic TMC)
Immunotherapy (allergy injections to pollens and selective insects)
Drug and food challenges
Skin testing (Pollen, food, selected insects, animals, molds)
Anergy panel and tuberculosis screening (PPD)
Completion and issue of Georgia Registry of Immunization Transaction and Services (G.R.I.T.S.) form 3231
HOURS OF OPERATION:
The hours of operation are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m., 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
*Hours are subject to change during flu season and times of high patient workload
Allergen and Venom Immunotherapy (Allergy Shot):
Monday – Friday: 07:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Vaccinations Anergy Panel and PPD Placement:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 07:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
*No PPD placement on Thursdays.
