Allergy and Immunization

Allergy/Immunology Services at Winn Army Community Hospital wants to welcome you to our webpage. Our commitment is to provide the highest quality care to our patients. We provide care to patients of all ages, from infancy to adulthood. The services that are rendered through our clinic include the diagnosis and care of patients with pollen allergies, sinusitis, asthma, hives, animal allergies, mold, food, drug and insect allergies, adverse reactions to drugs and vaccines, and immunodeficiencies.

SERVICES RENDERED:

The following are provided through the Allergy/Immunization Services:

  • Inpatient and outpatient allergy/immunology consultation and follow-up
  • Overseas and specialty immunizations for non-Active duty health care beneficiaries (All Active Duty Soldiers who are not assigned to MEDDAC, DENTAC or VETTEC, should receive immunizations through their Troop Medical Clinic TMC)
  • Immunotherapy (allergy injections to pollens and selective insects)
  • Drug and food challenges
  • Skin testing (Pollen, food, selected insects, animals, molds)
  • Anergy panel and tuberculosis screening (PPD)
  • Completion and issue of Georgia Registry of Immunization Transaction and Services (G.R.I.T.S.) form 3231

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Monday-Friday (except Federal and Training Holidays)
Allergy/Immunization Clinics will be closed on the 3rd Thursday of each
month for mandatory training

 0730-1130: Patients can walk-in to the clinic to be checked in and screened for immunizations or receive Georgia Immunization Registry forms (GRITS).
1131-1259: Patients can walk-in to the clinic to receive Georgia Immunization Registry forms (GRITS). Patients will not be checked in or screened for immunizations during this time.
1300-1530: Patients can walk-in to the clinic to be checked in and screened for immunizations or receive Georgia Immunization Registry forms (GRITS).
1531-1630: Patients can walk-in to the clinic to receive Georgia Immunization Registry forms (GRITS). Patients will not be checked in or screened for immunizations during this time.
