Avoiding sharp sticks, infections
When working in medical and dental spaces, there are sometimes risk of accidental skin puncture, when needles, dental burrs (the drill bits), scalpels, and other items – referred to as sharps are involved. Which means there is also the risk of infection.

Got Infected? Sharing thoughts on milk pasteurization
The CDC notes while most stores sell only pasteurized milk, some dairies sell “raw” milk. Please consider that efforts to detect contamination in unpasteurized milk continues to improve; but low levels of bacteria remain a risk and can later cause illness. Use caution -- Stay healthy, stay informed.

TRICARE Authorizes Temporary Prescription Refill Waivers for Georgia due to Hurricane Idalia
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) announced that TRICARE beneficiaries in Georgia may receive emergency prescription refills now through Sept. 8, 2023, due to Hurricane Idalia. All counties are impacted.
