Sergeant Major Jason W. Conner attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson and completed Combat Medical Specialist Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
SGM Conner currently serves as the Winn Army Community Hospital Sergeant Major. He has served as a Line Medic, Dive Medic, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Operator/Advisor, and First Sergeant. His previous assignments include: ICRF/TF Falcon, HAAF, Georgia; JTF, MacDill AFB, Florida; NATO JCSE, Izmir, Turkey; The 74th, 511th, 544th and 569th Dive Team, Fort Eustis, Virginia; 5th RTB/RMC 11, Camp Merrill, Georgia; 1-15 FA, Camp Hovey, South Korea; TF Jaguar/OA, Camp Blanding/MacDill AFB, Florida; C Company, WBAMC, Fort Bliss, Texas; HQ & A Company, 4-10 INF/HHBN, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; 3rd Infantry Division Surgeon Sergeant Major.
SGM Conner’s military education includes the Warrior Leader Course, Air Assault Course, Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman Course, Underwater Operations Course, Electronic Warfare Tactical Practitioner Course, Combatives Level II Course, Irregular Warfare Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, and the First Sergeant’s Course. He is a graduate of Class 69 from the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy. His civilian education includes an AA from Harold Washington University, a BA from Gaither Christian University, a BS from Texas Tech, a M.A. from Gaither Christian University, and a MBA from F. Jones University.
